Message from the Patron, KVHAA
KVHAA (Kendriya Vidyalaya Hebbal Alumni Association) is a registered body, set up as an association of the former students of our beloved KV Hebbal. Consisting of registered members who studied at KVH during the 1960s and 70s, when the school was relatively young, as well as those who passed out more recently, the KVHAA is a growing organization, with a great reputation. Headed by an Executive committee of 10 alumni members, KVHAA engages with the School Management for various programmes that are beneficial to the school, the students, staff and teachers. The KVHAA is a great conduit for your support, financial or otherwise, to the KVH, our dear old school. If you are an alumnus / alumna of this now famous school (PM Shri status awarded a couple of years ago!), we encourage you to contact the office bearers and become a Life Mmber of KVHAA!! We look forward to growing this lively organization with your help! Long live KVH! Long Live KVHAA!!

Message from the Patron, KVHAA
Dear members of KVHAA,
It is both an honour and a joy to connect with our extraordinary community of KVHians.
Having spent twelve unforgettable years at KVH (1975–1987) as a proud member of the Batch
of 1987, I cherish the memories of our beloved school—its incredible teachers, lifelong
friendships, and the values that shaped us. KVH was more than just a school; it was a home
that nurtured us and shaped our dreams. Today, KVHAA reconnects us with our roots and
brings back the nostalgia that keeps us coming back for more.
KVHAA is more than just staying in touch—it’s a place to connect, grow, and thrive within a
network of amazing people. For over six decades, it has brought together KVHians from across
the world, bound by the magic of our shared past. But beyond nostalgia, it’s about rekindling
friendships, exploring common interests, and creating opportunities together. I am delighted
that KVHAA now offers meaningful ways to engage. Through Special Interest Groups (SIGs),
you can pursue passions in sports, arts, music, business, social causes, and more—making
KVHAA a vibrant, inclusive community where every member belongs.
I extend my sincere appreciation to KVHAA’s first-ever elected Executive Committee, led by
President Sadhana Majumdar, for their dedication to strengthening our alumni network.
Building upon the foundation laid by the interim committee, they are turning SIGs into dynamic
hubs of engagement. Their efforts ensure that KVHAA remains a thriving space to connect,
collaborate, and contribute.
The true strength of an alumni association isn’t just in its events or initiatives—it’s in us. Every
time we show up, support one another, or reconnect, we keep the KVH spirit alive. Whether
you mentor, volunteer, or simply spread the word, every effort helps KVHAA flourish.
So, let’s keep the momentum going. Reach out to an old batchmate today and invite them to be
part of this ever-growing network. The bigger we grow, the more we create—not just for
ourselves, but for the generations of KVHians to come.
As a founding Vice President and immediate past President, I have had the privilege of
watching KVHAA grow from an idea into a thriving community over the past 12 years. It is
an honour to be considered a Patron of KVHAA. Let’s continue to grow, inspire, and strengthen
the bonds that make KVHAA special. Together, we can build a lasting legacy.
With Warm Regards,
Dr. Alice Abraham
